I needed a blankie background picture for my computer. I thought it would be cozy to cheer up in cold winter time.  So I did it for me first, and then of course I had to share it. I took a look at my stats and made it in the 3 most common sizes my readers use, so there must be the exact one for you!

J'ai eu envie d'une image doudou pour mon ecran. Il fait pas chaud, il me fallait un truc tout doux pour boire mon the au lait avec du miel en regardant mes emails. Alors je l'ai fait...Et puis maintenant c'est bon,teste pour vous et tout et tout, a vous de l'utiliser!

A pea in the pod

If I well understood ( correct me if I'm wrong) a common expression to say someone is pregnant is " a pea in the pod". I also heard "as snug as a pea in a pod", to express comfort. I like this expression better than the more common " a bun in the oven" and the even more coarse French expression " un polichinelle dans le tiroir" ( a puppet in the drawer). This last I find almost gross.
I thought I should give "peas a chance" and made an illustration:

"Un petit pois dans sa cosse", qui traduit ausi le confort ( comme un petit pois dans sa cosse), voila une expression Americaine qui me sied beaucooup plus que l'affreux " polichinelle dans le tiroir" Francais, qui je ne sais pourquoi, me parait super vulgaire. Bref j'ai trouve l'expression jolie, en voici l'illustration.

Via Drawn! I found the cool website of Pictaps where you can create a very simple but very funny character and watch it dance . Please parents beware: there is no regulations of what people draw, so the website is not always childproof...Take a look before letting your children play with it!!

Via Drawn! j'ai trouve un site tres rigolo: Pictaps ou vous pouvez dessiner un personnage tout simple et le regarder danser en 3D. Il suffit d'appuyer sur Paint! et de faire attention a dessiner dans les traits de la structure donnee. Attention, le site n'est pas surveille, donc les dessins de personnages ne sont pas forcement heu politiquement correct. C'est fou le nombre de gens qui aiment faire danser des zigounettes. Ou des petits chats. Moi je prefere les lapins, chacun ses idees. Donc avant de faire dessiner un perso a votre progeniture, verifiez quels sont les personnages en cours d'affichage...Voila, amusez-vous bien!

J'ai aussi fait un petit athlete rigolo...C'est la meme animation, mais c'est fou comme le sens change avec le personnage!

When pigs fly

When pigs fly...Is it the correct expression? Please tell me.

I've been told that if you do six amazing things before breakfast then pigs will fly. It sounds very amazing indeed. But I remembered that I'm not able to do much before breakfast because I'm so hungry and maybe that's the reason why I never saw pigs flying.

I've also been told that a little friend of mine is now reading my blog, I feel very honoured and I say "hello!" to her (yes Em' it's you) and to all the little girls who read my blog too.

L'equivalent Anglais de l'expression " quand les poules auront des dents" est a peu pres "
quand les cochons voleront". J'aime beaucoup cette expression, et j'ai appris que c'est sense arriver quand on est capable de faire six choses impossibles avant le petit dejeuner. Cela me parait beaucoup, surtout que je suis incapable de faire quoique ce soit d'impossible ou pas quand j'ai faim.

Je fait un petit coucou en passant a mes lectrices Francophones de moins de 10 ans...Comme ca , pour le plaisir.
